Alabama’s been doing this to opponents all year long. The Crimson Tide’s receivers unit is one of the best in the nation, quite possibly the top unit in all of college football. With a quarteback like Tagovailoa, getting the ball to these elite receivers has become all too easy. The Crimson Tide are 4-0, outscoring opponents 200-43. That’s an average score of 50-10.75.Alabama’s 50 points per game average it tied for 5th in the nation. The Crimson Tide also average 550 yards per game — 9th best in all of college football. Their offense, coupled with another elite defense, has the Tide on their way to another College Football Playoff selection. But the SEC is much tougher this year than it’s been in years past. LSU, Georgia and Auburn are all elite teams in the conference. Alabama has to play LSU and Georgia in the regular season. If the Tide can get past those two teams, chances are they’ll play Georgia in the SEC championship.Alabama and Ole Miss are playing on CBS.
